Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Paducah in Kentucky is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for a direct-hire, full-time LTAC role serving high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions.

You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate with the medical team, monitor progress, administer treatments, and document findings, while educating families and advocating for long-term health and recovery.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state.
• Minimum 1 year in acute care, ICU, or LTAC preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient care excellence.
• Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to plan care.
• Monitor progress, administer meds and treatments, document findings.
• Educate patients and families, advocate for long-term recovery.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
