Job summary

Homestead of Mason City is seeking full-time Direct Care Workers for day and night shifts. You will provide direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities and daily chores, including housekeeping and mealtime service.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course is required upon hire.
• Ability to provide direct care to residents and support daily living activities.
• Good communication and teamwork with staff and residents.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
