Job summary

Homestead of Mason City is seeking full-time Direct Care Workers for day and night shifts to support residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, home-like setting. Responsibilities include medication handling, housekeeping, laundry, and meal service, with supervision by an Executive Director.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course is required upon hire.
