Job summary

Homestead of Albia in Albia, IA is seeking dedicated Direct Care Workers for all shifts, full-time and part-time. You will provide direct care to residents, assist with activities of daily living, and support housekeeping, laundry, and mealtime services under the direction of the Executive Director.

Qualified candidates must be a Certified Medication Aide or complete the 10-hour medication manager course upon hire.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course is required upon hire.
