People Inc. is seeking a Senior Residential Supervisor to oversee direct care staff, guide daily living activities, and monitor program plans in a Buffalo, NY setting.

The role requires coordinating staff tasks, administering medications, and ensuring safety and documentation compliance during designated shifts. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to multitask while maintaining compassionate care for residents with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License per agency policy.
• Medical competency-based training.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (standing, walking, etc.).
• Lifting requirement of 35 lbs.
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals as required by plan.
• SCIP-R certification as per guidelines.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care staff during the Senior Residential Supervisor’s absence and provide oversight on designated shifts.
• Schedule and oversee tasks/activities for individuals and household staff to ensure services and care.
• Assist Senior Residential Supervisor with staff development, coaching and corrective action.
• Provide instruction and supervision of individuals in daily living areas including meal planning, dietary needs, money management, documentation, and community activities.
• Promote positive relationships with individuals, families, advocates, employees and the community.
• Ensure timely, effective communications to appropriate parties.
• Administer medications and complete health-related forms.
• Safely transport individuals to activities and appointments.
• Maintain confidential and comprehensive record-keeping and incident reporting.
• Develop and monitor program plans with Senior Residential Supervisor.
• Maintain a safe environment and schedule monthly fire drills.
• Record time worked and ensure compliance with policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
