Job summary

Berkshire County Arc in Westfield, MA is seeking Direct Care Professionals for part-time roles across all shifts. You will support individuals with daily living, transportation, and recreational activities while promoting independence.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with an insured vehicle, and at least 1 year of Direct Care experience. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license, Insured vehicle.
• Must have 1+ year(s) previous Direct Care experience.

• Direct Care Professionals assist individuals in all areas of daily living including personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and bringing to appointments and recreational activities.
• This position works closely with individuals to help them to become as independent as possible and to meet their personal goals.
• Staff must maintain accurate and complete records, reports and data necessary to meet the requirements of BCArc and any certifying or regulatory agency.
• Effective communication with other staff, family members and Individuals is required.
