Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our HCBS team in Bloomfield, IA. You will assist individuals with daily living skills, emotional well-being, and community involvement, supporting independence and meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities such as grocery shopping, errands, hygiene, and medication administration.
• Assist with mobility needs, including two-person transfers and use of a Hoyer lift.
• Help clients achieve personal goals like cooking, cleaning, and social integration.
• Transport clients to appointments and community events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members.
