Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Residential Services in Oskaloosa, IA. This part-time role covers various shifts and supports individuals to gain independence in daily living, health, and community participation.

You will assist with daily tasks, mobility, and transportation while documenting progress on PCSPs. A HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and flexible availability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and community participation.
• Support with mobility needs and transfers as required.
• Help clients achieve personal goals (cooking, cleaning, social activities).
• Transport clients to appointments and events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regularly.
