Job summary

Penquis is seeking Direct Care Professionals in the Dover-Foxcroft area to support individuals in residential and community settings. This role helps clients build independence, maintain meaningful community connections, and work toward personal goals with dependable daily support.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; MHRT-1 and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred, with paid training to obtain these certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Provisional MHRT-1 certification and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred; paid training to obtain these certifications offered.

Responsibilities

• Teach living skills according to each client's treatment plan.
• Complete objective documentation using required forms or electronic records.
• Support problem solving and the daily supports needed to meet client goals.
• Maintain cleanliness of the home and help plan, shop for, and prepare balanced meals.
• Transport clients to community locations, events, and appointments.
