Job summary

New Mexico Department of Justice seeks a dedicated professional to provide daily living support to developmentally disabled and/or mentally ill individuals in residential, home-based, and community settings. You will monitor health, assist with personal care, and document services and progress daily.

The role requires working in a 24/7 environment across Valencia County. A High School Diploma and one year of related experience are required; a license and HIPAA-related training may be needed;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Any combination of education/experience may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living skills support to individuals in residential/home/community settings.
• Monitor medical, physical and emotional well-being and document progress daily.
• Mentor and assist with daily activities in a 24/7 setting.
