RTR is seeking a hands-on Residential Support Specialist to help individuals with developmental disabilities live safely and independently. You’ll assist with daily living, personal care, transportation, and community activities in a home setting.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, English fluency, and willingness to complete required trainings. A $2,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 1 year direct experience in human services.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI).
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Fluent in English; able to read and write reports.

Responsabilités

  • Provide direct support and skill-building in daily living activities.
  • Assist individuals with personal care needs (hygiene, meals, dressing, mobility).
  • Provide transportation as required to activities and appointments.
  • Maintain a clean, safe home environment and complete daily documentation.
  • Administer medications following procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Support participation in community activities and teamwork meetings.
  • Offer coaching and support to new staff as directed.
