Job summary

Road To Responsibility Inc. seeks Residential Support Staff to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in living more independently at home and in the community.

You will provide hands-on care, support daily living skills, and attend medical appointments, all while promoting safety and independence. Responsibilities include implementing behavioral plans, administering medications per procedures, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and care teams to ensure quality,

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in English and able to read/write reports and procedures.
  • Demonstrated reliability and caring approach to individuals with disabilities.
  • Must complete mandated trainings and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, hygiene, and routines.
  • Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance as needed.
  • Assist with medical appointments and community activities.
  • Implement individualized support and behavioral plans.
  • Administer medications per established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming home environment.
  • Provide transportation as required.
  • Complete documentation and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with team members, families, and care providers.
  • Serve as a positive role model and advocate for those you support.
