Braden Health LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Director for North Campbell Community Hospital in Jellico, TN. This essential role ensures efficient operations and patient care, directing the Pharmacy Department and aligning with hospital goals.

The position requires a PharmD from an accredited school, 5+ years hospital management, and active Tennessee licenses. You will lead clinical and operational initiatives, collaborating with physicians and staff while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Minimum five years of management experience in a hospital.
• Current Tennessee Pharmacy License.
• Current Tennessee Controlled Substance Qualification Endorsement.
• Ability to lead and manage pharmacy services and ensure compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

NOW HIRING: Pharmacy Director

Position General Summary:

This position is an Essential position at the facility to ensure efficient operations and patient care. Employees hired into an Essential position are expected to report to work for their scheduled shifts regardless of the environmental weather and road conditions that may exist.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

The Director of Pharmacy Services shall be responsible for the direction, management and administration of the Pharmacy Department.

The Director of Pharmacy Services shall be responsible for ensuring personnel adhere to hospital policies, procedures and legal regulations.

The Director of Pharmacy Services participates in an interdisciplinary approach to achieving the vision, philosophy and goals of Henderson County Community Hospital.

Facility General Responsibilities:

• Attend facility new hire orientation as scheduled by HR
• Complete Department Orientation Initial Competency within 7 days of hire date
• Complete Department Initial Skills Competency within 90 days of hire date
• Follow facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures
• Respect cultural and religious practices of patients from all backgrounds
• Follow HIPAA regulations at all times
• Be punctual and dependent for assigned shifts
• Dress within the dress code requirements of the facility
• Identifies all patients using at least two identifiers verbally (name and DOB), and by checking ID bracelet
• Follows Hospital Wide and Department Specific policies and procedures
• Must interact with physicians, guest, staff, and patients pleasantly, cooperatively, and effectively

Position Requirements: Education, Work Experience, Licensure, Certifications;

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.

Experience:

The Director of Pharmacy must have a minimum of five years management experience in a hospital environment.

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

1. Demonstrates skill in communication, conflict resolution and human relations.
2. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
3. Must exhibit a team approach.
4. Must be knowledgeable of fiscal, general healthcare issues, trends, quality management and other aspects of Pharmaceutical practice and standards.
5. Must be proficient in both oral and written communication.

Licenses/Certificates:

Current Tennessee Pharmacy License

Current Tennessee Controlled Substance Qualification Endorsement

Working Conditions:

The position requires sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting and lifting. The Director must be able to see with corrective eye wear. The Director must be able to ear clearly with assistance. The Director may be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases and may be in contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances. The Director must be able to handle emergency or crisis situations. The Director may be occasionally subject to irregular hours. The Director may be required to wear protective equipment as necessary.
