Dir, Data Science & Analytics - AI Governance - Remote

This role involves performing data and error analysis to improve models, cleaning and validating data for uniformity and accuracy, and evaluating healthcare utilization and cost containment reports to make informed recommendations. Responsibilities include executing data science and statistical experiments to address various healthcare challenges.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Lead strategic analysis and planning across health plans, aligning with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Perform deep dive analyses, provide actionable insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue and care quality.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop analytical frameworks to support business cases, presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Design and evaluate Payment Integrity campaigns, assessing performance and recommending improvements.
• Present complex analytical data clearly to diverse audiences and manage analytical project delivery.
• Develop scalable and automated data analysis processes, utilizing tools like Hadoop, Power BI, R, Python, SQL, and others.
• Apply statistical and computational methodologies to generate insights and optimize healthcare quality and costs.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of leading healthcare analytics functions; 7+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop, Power BI, R, Python, SQL, Impala SQL, Toad, Apache Superset, and relevant data science packages.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SDLC concepts.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to organize unstructured problems.
