Job summary

The Diocese of Charlotte is seeking a Project Manager to lead diocesan real estate initiatives, partnering with pastors, principals, and administrators from concept to completion in alignment with diocesan approval processes.

You will report to the director of the Construction & Real Estate Office and collaborate with legal, finance, and chancery teams on contracts, valuations, and strategy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; NC real estate broker licensure preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of related experience; experience in school and church real estate projects preferred.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills; capable of handling complex teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for parishes or entities in Canon 1281 Title II process.
• Coordinate with diocesan offices to process contracts and approval documents.
• Deliver real estate projects originating with Tier I entities.
• Prepare analyses for evaluating real estate transactions.
• Engage brokers, appraisers, and other professionals to evaluate opportunities.
• Develop and implement a diocesan real estate strategy with buy/hold/sell analyses.
• Gather data, prepare reports, and support the Real Estate & Facilities Committee.
