Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten years of full-time wage-earning experience in financial reporting/general ledger.
• Five years supervising with responsibility for financial statement preparation and consolidation, tax reporting and budget preparation.
• English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing.
• Certified Public Accountant, MBA, or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Compliance with Diocese Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close for multiple funds within the Diocese.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyses for all segments.
• Coordinate and assist with external audits and actuarial valuations.
• Maintain understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structures; supervise staff.
