The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent with experience), familiarity with engineering drawings, and a Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution preferred; experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural drawings and renderings.
• Knowledge of Diocesan policies and procedures is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct construction, renovation, and replacement projects for the Diocesan locations.
• Consult with Pastors and Location committees from planning through completion.
• Manage bid documents and the bid process.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines, and report progress to leadership.
• Collaborate with supervisors, Location management, contractors, and design professionals.
• Monitor and respond to delays, weather events, or emergencies at worksites.
