Job summary

ROMAN CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF CORPUS CHRISTI is seeking a qualified Groundskeeper in Corpus Christi, TX to perform general maintenance on parish grounds and facilities. The role supports the Diocesan mission and collaborates with volunteers and vendors while keeping buildings and grounds in good repair.

The successful candidate will have maintenance experience, basic plumbing/electrical/HVAC knowledge, and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; technical training is a plus.
• Proven experience in maintenance with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Good communication and a customer-oriented attitude; able to work with volunteers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on parish grounds and facilities.
• Inspect buildings for minor repairs and report major repairs to Pastor/Pastoral Assistant.
• Operate small machinery and general tools as needed.
• Coordinate with volunteers and vendors; on-call when required.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the grounds and buildings.
