Job summary

ROMAN CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF CORPUS CHRISTI is seeking a qualified Groundskeeper in Corpus Christi, TX to perform general maintenance on parish grounds and facilities. The successful candidate will have maintenance experience, basic plumbing/electrical/HVAC knowledge, and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; technical training is a plus.
• Proven experience in maintenance with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge.

• Good communication and a customer-oriented attitude; able to work with volunteers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on parish grounds and facilities.
• Inspect buildings for minor repairs and report major repairs to Pastor/Pastoral Assistant.
• Operate small machinery and general tools as needed.
• Coordinate with volunteers and vendors; on-call when required.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the grounds and buildings.
