Job summary

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is hiring a Dining Team Member to maintain daily operations at one of our UNL dining concepts. You will provide friendly guest service, process orders with the POS, and help prepare food and beverages to meet brand standards.

You will also handle mobile and in-store orders, restock supplies, assist with inventory, and maintain cleanliness while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School education plus one year of work experience or equivalency
• Ability to read, write, weigh and measure as required
• Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing Safety and Sanitation test

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests
• Process customer orders accurately using the POS system
• Prepare food and beverages according to company standards and customer requests
• Fulfill mobile and in-store orders efficiently
• Stock front-of-house and kitchen supplies
• Prepare ingredients and assist with inventory management
• Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met
