The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is hiring a Dining Team Member for Husker Heroes at Lincoln, NE. You will provide friendly customer service, process orders with the POS, and help prepare food to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School education plus one year of experience in a work environment required; equivalency considered
• Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary
• Food Handler's permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests
• Process customer orders accurately using the POS system
• Prepare food and beverages according to company standards and customer requests
• Fulfill mobile and in-store orders efficiently
• Stock front-of-house and kitchen supplies
• Prepare ingredients and assist with inventory management

Dining Team Member (Husker Heroes)

The Nebraska Unions Food Commons features a variety of dining options, including local favorites such as Valentino's and Imperial Palace, as well as popular concepts like Sossy's BBQ, Husker Hero's, and Choolaah. We are seeking a Dining Team Member to maintain daily operations of one of these dining concepts while helping deliver an outstanding guest experience.

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests
