Job summary

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is seeking a Dining Team Member to maintain daily operations across dining concepts at the Nebraska Unions Food Commons, delivering an outstanding guest experience.

As a Dining Team Member, you will provide friendly service, process orders with the POS, prepare food and beverages, fulfill mobile and in-store orders, and help with inventory and cleanliness. This full-time position offers generous PTO and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School education plus one year of experience in a work environment or equivalent.
• Equivalency considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests.
• Process customer orders accurately using the POS system.
• Prepare food and beverages according to company standards and customer requests.
• Fulfill mobile and in-store orders efficiently.
• Stock front-of-house and kitchen supplies.
• Prepare ingredients and assist with inventory management.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
