Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor for Cork & Craft on the Tucson Campus. The role oversees daily dining operations, guiding cooks, attendants, baristas, cashiers and sanitation staff, while supporting the manager with hiring, scheduling, and training within university policy.

This full-time position may require evenings, weekends and holidays; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff during shifts and assign stations/tasks.
• Open and close the restaurant following SOPs.
• Oversee operations including POS, shift reports and logs.
• Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs.
• Assist with daily operations including ordering, inventory control, labor, budgeting.
• Assist with training staff and coordinating work schedules.
• Communicate instructions to staff clearly and monitor performance.
• Maintain daily goals and communicate menus/promotions.
• Ensure safe food handling and workplace safety.
• May assist with maintaining online shop and express catering.
