NEXDINE Hospitality in Hutchinson, KS seeks a Food Services Supervisor to help manage the café operations, ensure timely service and high standards. You will oversee budgeting, vendor relations, and staff development to deliver a consistently exceptional dining experience.

The role emphasizes food quality, presentation, client relations, and compliance with safety standards, with weekly direct deposit pay and full-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience.
• Strong background in culinary arts.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact with management, clients, customers and staff.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure quality standards.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for conformance to standards.
• Arrange equipment purchases or repairs.
• Purchase food and supplies to ensure efficient operation and quality control.
• Determine production schedules and staffing to meet service delivery and payroll needs.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and uniform guidelines; monitor productivity.
• Record production or operational data as required.
• Manage client relationships to sustain satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee culinary operations and ensure high quality of all food products.
