Job summary

Insights Training Group LLC on the Carl D Perkins Job Corps Center in Prestonsburg, KY, seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the center's dining program. The role ensures well-balanced meals, adherence to menus, and compliance with health standards.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with NRA Food Service Sanitation certification preferred and management experience. Attractive benefits and a collaborative team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, Institutional Management preferred or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• NRA Food Service Sanitation or equivalent certification preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License and one year management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision of the food service operation.
• Ensure three meals per day (two on holidays/weekends) with snacks as needed.
• Plan menus on a minimum 28-day cycle and ensure nutrition and dietary needs are met.
• Maintain sanitary dining and food handling areas in accordance with state/local standards.
• Manage ordering, purchasing, receiving, inventorying, and issuing of food products.
• Engage with center management to provide meals during serving periods and charge non-students where applicable.
• Ensure safety, health, and security of students, staff, and property.
• Administer departmental budgets and deliver quality customer service.
• Lead and evaluate kitchen and dining staff to comply with regulations.
