Job summary

Morrison Living, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Dining Services Manager I in North Carolina. You will manage a team of food service professionals and oversee the main dining room operations as well as special functions, ensuring high-quality service and guest satisfaction in line with company standards.

You will assist with budgeting and profit and loss analysis, prepare quarterly client reports, and collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to roll out new programs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations.
• Waited table and catering experience is preferred.
• Possess general hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.
• Associate's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dining services operations of a small to medium volume location.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assists with profit and loss and budgeting as it pertains to this account.
• Assists in food service-related activities, primarily in seated dining; includes sanitation and infection control.
• Helps rollout new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Prepares quarterly reports for client presentation.
• Collaborates with marketing and culinary to increase sales through food quality and innovations.
• Coordinates with culinary to reflect company vision in food programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
