Morrison Living, a member of Compass Group USA, seeks a Dining Services Manager to lead a team of food service professionals and oversee service in the main dining room and special functions. You will work with the Chef and management team to create menus and ensure top quality food and service.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Waited table and catering experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dining services operations of a medium to large volume location.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Assists with profit and loss and budgeting as it pertains to this account.
• Works with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food.
• Involved in meal service in seated dining room, including sanitation and infection control.
• Rollout of new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
• Prepare quarterly client reports and communicate with culinary to reflect the company’s vision.
