Job summary

Morrison Living is seeking a Dining Services Manager I to lead a team of food service professionals and oversee operations in the main dining room and during special functions.

You will collaborate with the Chef and management to design menus, drive service excellence, and ensure sanitation and quality across meals. A focus on inter‑departmental coordination and contributing to the facility plan is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations.
• Waiter table and catering experience preferred.
• Possess general hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining services operations at a small to medium volume location.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Assist with profit & loss and budgeting as it pertains to this account.
• Work with the Chef and management team to create menus and provide top‑quality food.
• Be primarily involved in meal services in a seated dining room setting, including sanitation and related activities.
• Assist with rolling out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Assist with preparation of quarterly reports for client presentation.
• Work with marketing and culinary departments to increase sales through innovation and food quality.
• Communicate with the culinary department to ensure food programs reflect the company’s vision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
