Healthcare Services Group, Inc is hiring a Dining Services Department Manager to lead the dining operations at a long-term care facility. You will ensure high-quality food service, manage inventory, and oversee compliance with menus and safety standards.

Qualifications

• CDM or DSS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of quantity food production/service and supervision experience.
• FPM within first 14 days of employment.
• FSM and LTC-FSM within first 60 days of employment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; positive attitude and teamwork.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the food service program at a single site, ensuring high quality and compliance with menus, regulations, and HCSG policies.
• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment; use HCSG software.
• Train staff, perform quality control, and conduct in-service sessions; fill in as dietary aide, cook, or dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Follow infection control, cleaning procedures, and report equipment needs promptly.
• Maintain attendance and timely task completion; represent HCSG positively with stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
