Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) is seeking a Dining Services Department Manager to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. The role focuses on quality, safety, and guest-resident experience, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide organization.

You will oversee staff, maintain records, and ensure compliance with infection control and nutrition standards while supporting client managers and administration.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training and in-service sessions; fill roles as needed.
• Communicate client directives to HCSG staff effectively.
• Ensure sanitary environment following infection control and safety procedures.
• Represent HCSG positively with staff, clients, residents and guests.
