• A minimum of eight years of progressive food service experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience managing inventories and budgets in a food service setting.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Directs food service operations within the community, including preparation, dining room operations and delivery services.
• Hires, trains and manages supervisory staff for kitchen, dining, catering and delivery services.
• Develops and maintains nutritious menus; incorporates resident preferences based on surveys and daily interactions.
• Develops and monitors department budget, purchasing and inventory to control costs and waste.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local health regulations; plans dining events in collaboration with other staff.
• Engages with Regional Food Service Directors to share ideas and improve operations.
