Job summary

Wellspring Health Care Center is seeking a food service aide to support dining operations in our senior living environment. You will assist with meal service, tray delivery, and adherence to therapeutic diets while maintaining a clean, safe dining area for residents.

Responsibilities include following established policies, assisting cooks, managing supplies, and participating in training sessions to ensure high service standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Level of Formal Education: High School Diploma.
• Years of Experience: Entry Level (0-3 Years).
• Type of Experience: Food Service or Hospitality.
• Special Certifications: Serv Safe or required certification from local, county or state department.
• Language Skills: Capable of communicating well verbally and to residents and staff.
• Skills and Ability: Basic cooking and preparation, service techniques, ability to follow instructions, multitask, therapeutic diets, sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Follow Dining Policy and Procedures according to the manual.
• Serve food with portion control and follow diet/therapeutic requirements.
• Assist with meals, tray setup, and room service as needed.
• Assist cooks and manage supplies for the next meal.
• Maintain safety and sanitation per regulations.
• Attend required trainings and department meetings.
• Keep dining areas clean and organized.
