Job summary

Bedrock Healthcare's Watertown Health Care Center is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support our residents with nutritious meals and snacks. You will follow sanitation policies and assist in food preparation while delivering meals to residents and ensuring a clean service area.

This role requires the ability to read and follow diet lists, maintain personal hygiene, and work with a caring team to provide high-quality dining experiences in a warm, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of methods and techniques for handling and serving food.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food handling.
• Ability to follow diet lists, portion foods as specified.
• Ability to interact positively with staff, residents, families, visitors, and the public.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written and oral directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Handles food and equipment per sanitation policies.
• Operates equipment with safety awareness.
• Delivers food carts and trays as instructed.
• Prepares and delivers snacks.
• Performs daily cleaning duties per policies.
• Reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Ensures high-quality service in a caring atmosphere.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
