Job summary

Compass Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Server/Waiter/Dishwasher to serve elders and guests, take meal orders, and maintain a clean dining and kitchen area. You will prepare and serve meals per dietary standards, clean dishes, and ensure safe storage of food, while collaborating with a compassionate team dedicated to elder care.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Adhere to procedures regarding infection control, food-borne illness prevention, harmful chemical handling, fire, safety, and sanitation.
• Read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.

Responsibilities

• Serve elders and guests, takes orders for meals, and clears tables after meals.
• Prepare and serve meals for the dietary department in a safe and appetizing method in compliance with dietary standards, policy, and procedures.
• Clean the kitchen, wash dishes, and return food to proper storage.
