Job summary

Boston College seeks an Assistant Manager for Corcoran Commons to lead daily dining operations with a focus on staff supervision, service excellence, and confidentiality. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree acceptable with equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of food and beverage supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead diverse staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dining service activities and supervise staff.
• Coordinate scheduling, overtime, and staffing adjustments.
• Hire, train, and evaluate employees; ensure high quality service.
• Oversee inventory, cash handling, and payroll records.
• Plan and execute catered events and special functions.
