Job summary

The Dining Service Associate at EverTrue supports the dining program by setting up and serving meals, maintaining clean dining areas, and assisting with food preparation as needed. You will ensure foods are at proper temperatures and served on time, while following safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities include serving residents, stocking buffets, recording temperatures in HACCP logs, and helping with cleanup.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with interruptions.
• Must have or be willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with dining service set-up in dining rooms and at events, prepares beverages, salads, desserts per recipes.
• Assists with dining room setup, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Helps with cleanup, cleans dining areas, buses tables, sweeps, mops, washes dishes, and stores items.
• Assists receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents.
• Maintains HACCP logs, records product usage and waste, and reports information as needed.
• Follows infection control procedures and uses protective equipment when handling waste.
