Job summary

Cedarhurst of La Vista is seeking a Dining Server/Housekeeper to deliver friendly, attentive dining service to residents and guests while maintaining a clean, safe environment. The role combines dining duties with light housekeeping as needed, requiring teamwork and a patient, compassionate approach.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving meals, keeping dining areas sanitary, supporting events, and following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools including Outlook, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous table service and maintain a clean, sanitary dining area.
• Assist with catering, room service, and special events as needed.
• Follow food safety standards and maintain knowledge of menus.
• Assist with routine housekeeping tasks and support resident wellbeing.
