Job summary

Cedarhurst of St Charles is seeking a Dining Server to provide courteous, efficient table service and maintain high cleanliness and safety standards. The role supports daily meals and special events, assists with food prep, and collaborates with the team to uphold Cedarhurst's dining standards.

You will interact with residents and families, adapt to individual dining needs, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to quality service and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior dining/food service experience preferred, especially in senior living.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, events and resident functions.
• Take orders promptly and deliver courteous, accurate service.
• Keep areas clean and sanitary; follow food safety standards.
• Clear and reset tables; manage supplies and waste.
• Support dining room setup and proper table settings.
• Communicate menu details and resident preferences clearly.
