Job summary

Frederick Living is seeking friendly servers to create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and guests. As a Server, you will support meal service, maintain dining room standards, and ensure a safe, clean, and customer-focused environment.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00/hour weekend incentive. The full-time position includes benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Must be at least 16 with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Create an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests
• Follow established style, sequence, and order of service in dining rooms and at special events
• Complete assigned pre-service and post-service side work
• Follow safety and sanitation rules and procedures
• Maintain strong communication and rapport with residents and coworkers
• Follow instructions and work collaboratively with the dining team
• Report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor or Manager
• Adhere to appearance, uniform, and work performance standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat work environment
• Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures
• Assist with evacuations in emergency situations as needed
• Protect the confidentiality of resident information
• Cooperate with other departments to support overall operations
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct
• Perform other duties as assigned
