Job summary

Frederick Living is seeking a Server to deliver warm, welcoming dining experiences for residents and guests. You will support meal service, uphold dining room standards, and maintain a clean, safe, and customer-focused environment.

The role requires excellent verbal communication, attentiveness, and a team-oriented attitude. Benefits include health insurance, 401k with company match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Create an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests.
• Follow established service style, sequence and order of service.
• Complete assigned pre-service and post-service side work.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules and procedures.
• Maintain strong communication with residents and coworkers.
• Work collaboratively with the dining team.
• Report issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Adhere to appearance, uniform, and work performance standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat work environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures.
• Assist with evacuations in emergency situations as needed.
• Protect the confidentiality of resident information.
• Cooperate with other departments to support overall operations.
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Rates starting at $15.00/hour PLUS an additional $1 when working weekends!

What You’ll Do

• Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures
• Assist with evacuations in emergency situations as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school education or equivalent preferred
• No prior experience required
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Excellent verbal communication skills
