Masonicare Corp in Mystic, CT is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor responsible for quality assurance in the dining room, creating and maintaining scheduling, monitoring wait staff compliance with dining standards, and overseeing general sanitation of kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include managing shift coverage, time-keeping accuracy, attire standards, staff training, menu communication, and ensuring a courteous,professional dining experience for residents and guests.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: Some waitstaff and supervisory experience
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain adherence to posted schedule, follow procedures for days off and reporting to work on time.
• Maintain proper time-clock procedures for hours worked.
• Report to work in proper attire to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
• Adhere to guidelines for safe food handling and sanitation.
• Interact with customers, visitors and co-workers with courtesy and respect.
• Wait on tables, take resident orders, and serve professionally while multitasking.
• Familiar with menu items and communicate to wait staff about items and resident issues.
• Check dining rooms pre-meal to ensure tables are set and clean.
• Check dining rooms post-meal to ensure area is cleared and reset.
• Assist in interviewing and recommending personnel for vacancies.
• Participate in disciplinary matters.
• Create and maintain schedule for Pond Ridge Dining Services staff.
• Delegate stations and ensure proper training for new waitstaff.
• Discuss menu with waitstaff before service and address questions and concerns.
• Monitor waitstaff activity to ensure smooth workflow and proper plating.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by Director/Assistant Director.
• Ensure safe food handling and sanitation throughout service.
