Job summary

Masonicare is seeking a Food & Hospitality Associate (Per Diem) in Newington, CT to set up and assemble meals for residents and serve meals in a clean, attractive, and professional manner during service.

The role involves timely prep and post-service tasks, participation in menu class, serving residents courteously, and maintaining an appropriate uniform. Mandatory education events are required.

Qualifications

• Some high school education preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and assembles various foods to be served to residents.
• During meal service, meets residents’ needs and serves foods in an attractive, professional manner.
• Waits on tables in a timely manner and ensures resident needs are met promptly and accurately.
• Interacts with residents, families and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Reports to work on time in proper uniform (clean shirt, bow tie, apron, name tag, black slacks and shoes, and a pen).
• Attends all mandatory education events.
