A luxury senior living community in Town of Florida is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to assist in managing dining services and supervising staff. The candidate will ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards, while maintaining a high level of service. Candidates should possess at least two years of supervisory experience in dining services, excellent communication skills, and adaptability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

The #1 Priority of this position is…

To assist the Dining Room Manager in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory control.

• Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses. Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Maintain standards for safety, sanitation, storage of food supplies and banquet supplies.
• Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.
• Ability to promote and execute our culture of “Yes”.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent (GED).
• At least two (2) years of experience in supervising dining room staff and food service.
• Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.
