Job summary

Vi Living in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee daily dining room and cafe operations. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and side work while training staff to deliver friendly, timely meals to Residents and guests.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in a high quality restaurant, hotel, country club or senior living company.

Responsibilities

Dining Room Supervisor

A desirable opportunity exists for an accomplished professional to supervise the daily operations of the dining room and café to include staffing, scheduling, assigning and checking all side work. The selected candidate will have significant responsibility for training of staff and ensuring an efficient, friendly and timely meal service is delivered to Residents and guests.

Qualifications

Qualified applicantsare requiredpossess 3 years previous experience in a high quality restaurant, hotel, country club or senior living company. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required.

• Ability to supervise, hire, train and create a high-performing team
• Systems orientation with basic Microsoft office skills and experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system is preferred.
• Complete knowledge of all current service styles and techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player, friendly and energetic with ability to coordinate multiple tasks
• Possess or be willing to obtain Food Handlers certification as required
