Job summary

Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a Dining Room Server for our brand-new senior living community. You will deliver attentive dining service to our residents and guests in a stable, on-site setting with no late-night shifts, building connections with familiar guests and ensuring a warm, personalized experience.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, assisting with events, and maintaining dining room cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hospitality oriented position.
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
