Belmont Village Senior Living in Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Dining Room Server to provide attentive, personalized service in our on-site restaurant within the Assisted Living community.

You will take orders, deliver meals, ensure proper presentation, and help with event service while upholding a welcoming atmosphere and high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate with teammates.
• Willingness to learn in a hands-on hospitality role.
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior restaurant server experience preferred.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages timely and professionally.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables to meet guest needs.

SCHEDULE

Full Time scheduled shift times vary between 6am and 8pm including weekends and holidays as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event.

Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands‑on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community dining room.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience

• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner

• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy

• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready

• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community

• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years of age
