Job summary

The Arbors and The Ivy Assisted Living Communities are seeking a Dining Room Server in Chicopee, MA. You will provide attentive dining room service to residents in a clean, comfortable atmosphere and help maintain a high standard of hospitality.

Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering meals, and ensuring resident satisfaction while maintaining dining area cleanliness. Must be 18+ with dietary experience and sensitivity to elder needs.

Qualifications

• Must have dietary experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work with elders and disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining room service with proper etiquette.
• Take orders, deliver meals, and check resident satisfaction at tables.
• Prepare table condiments prior to service.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness including vacuuming, resetting tables, refilling supplies, and cleaning beverage machines.
• Stock pub area with condiments and beverages; assist dietary aide or chef as needed.

Responsibilities

• Proper service etiquette
• Place all orders with kitchen for resident meal choices, deliver food, return to each table after being served to see if they are satisfied.
• Prepare table condiments prior to service
• Maintaining Cleanliness of Dining Room
  • Vacuum after each meal service
  • Reset dining room tables after they have been sanitized and cleaned
  • Refill all sugar caddies, S&P shakers
  • Insert daily menus and clean each menu holder
  • Maintain beverage/server pantry
  • Launder cloth napkins, aprons, and kitchen towels
  • Clean all beverage machines (coffee, juice & soda)
  • Adjust all blinds as needed to be uniform
• Stock pub area with condiments, paper goods and replenish all beverages and snacks as scheduled
• Assist dietary aide as needed and time permits
• Assist chef as needed and time permits

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have demonstrated dietary experience
• Must be sensitive to the needs of elders and disabled individuals.
