McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is recruiting a friendly Food Service Server to create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You’ll deliver attentive service, take orders, and help residents feel at home with every interaction.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and exceptional hospitality. We offer both full-time and part-time shifts, including day and evening hours with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while serving residents in the Dining Room.
• Take meal orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Assist with setting, clearing, and resetting Dining Room tables.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary dining environment per safety standards.
• Follow infection prevention and safety guidelines at all times.
• Perform other duties to support the Food Services team.

Responsibilities Overview:

As a Food Service Server, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. More than serving meals, you’ll provide friendly, attentive service while helping foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll work with the Food Servies team to ensure meals are delivered safely, efficiently, and with exceptional hospitality.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver exceptional customer service while serving residents in the Dining Room.
• Take meal orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with setting, clearing, and resetting Dining Room tables before and after meals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining environment in accordance with food and safety standards.
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Food Services department and community operations.

• Evening Shift: 4:00pm-8:30pm

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, restaurants, senior living is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
