McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care in St. Louis is seeking a Food Service Server to create welcoming dining experiences for residents. You will deliver friendly, attentive service in the Dining Room and help foster a warm, home-like atmosphere with every interaction.

The role supports the Food Services team with timely meal service, table care, sanitation, and adherence to safety guidelines. Both full-time and part-time schedules, including day and evening shifts, are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.

• Deliver exceptional customer service while serving residents in the Dining Room.
• Take meal orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Assist with setting, clearing, and resetting Dining Room tables before and after meals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining environment.
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties to support the Food Services team.

Responsibilities Overview:

As a Food Service Server, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. More than serving meals, you’ll provide friendly, attentive service while helping foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll work with the Food Servies team to ensure meals are delivered safely, efficiently, and with exceptional hospitality.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver exceptional customer service while serving residents in the Dining Room.
• Take meal orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with setting, clearing, and resetting Dining Room tables before and after meals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining environment in accordance with food and safety standards.
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Food Services department and community operations.

• Rotating Weekends

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, restaurants, senior living is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
