Job summary

All American Assisted Living in Kingston is seeking a friendly dining services team member to greet residents, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help keep tables ready.

You will assist in the dish room, reset dining areas between meals, and work closely with residents, families and coworkers in a warm, climate-controlled indoor environment. Previous food service is helpful but not required.

What You'll Do

• Greet residents warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
• Set and prepare dining room tables before meals
• Help residents find comfortable seating
• Take meal and beverage orders
• Explain available menu options when needed
• Serve meals, beverages, desserts, coffee and tea
• Refill water and offer additional servings
• Clear and reset tables between meals
• Help keep the dining room clean, organized and welcoming
• Assist in the dish room, including operating the dishwasher and putting away clean dishes
• Safely store and return walkers and other mobility devices
• Attend required meetings and in-service training
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and coworkers
• Complete other dining service duties as assigned
